LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James has won four NBA Championships, Four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has 2 Olympic Gold Medals. James has scored the most points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and has the seventh most career assists. It is a NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He's played in 10 NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and the year 2018. James was selected to be a member of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player in history to earn at least 10,000 points in a career. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA superstar. To prepare for the pro game, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft in 2003. He was voted as the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Then he was one of the top athletes of the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award in the years 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion in Cleveland in 2010, quit as a free-agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was made clear by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a player who was a free agent time.
