Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina made her debut with humorous rap tracks that tackled sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first musical encounter. She was a trumpet player. Apart from classical music and jazz, she started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. In college, she studied the field of women's studies and journalism. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin during her time in Beijing. Not until after graduation did she begin to concentrate on music. The track My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and later appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits like body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The track that was the last one to be closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was released in the year 2015. Apart from being a published author as well, she also worked as a performer. Her film credits include films including Neighbors 2, Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored major roles in a variety of high-profile movies like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
