Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American performer and actress. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to a Polish mother and a father that is German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen was able to show a flair for the arts at the age of a child. In 1992, she was awarded her first acting role in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed up for an agent, was also cast in advertisements for newspapers and television. Bell also began taking private acting classes at this time. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. She was cast as Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell later moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. In 2001, Bell went to university and decided to perform the part in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she made her first credited debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell was featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
