Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on August 14, 1959, in La Jolla, California, the youngest of five children. Beverly Bushfield, her mother was a housewife as Thad Harold harden was employed in the military. Family members moved often. As they travelled to Greece She became interested with theater and went to Athens performances. Harden started her college studies in Europe at American colleges and eventually moved to the US to complete her degree at the University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA from NYU. Miller's Crossing was the Coen Brothers hilarious satirical tribute to the 1990 film about gangsters, Miller's Crossing. Although Harden had appeared in movies as early as 1986 (in the less-known The Imagemaker), she appeared as a seductive female lead in her first major role. Harden was praised by critics for her stunning performance as Verna. Harden thereafter worked steadily in supporting roles, including her portrayal as Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992) A biopic that aired on TV about Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
